Second Timothy 1: 1-8 or Titus 1: 1-5
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the will of God, according to the promise of life, which is in Christ Jesus.2 To Timothy my dearly beloved son, grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from Christ Jesus our Lord.3 I give thanks to God, whom I serve from my forefathers with a pure conscience, that without ceasing, I have a remembrance of thee in my prayers, night and day.4 Desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy,5 Calling to mind that faith which is in thee unfeigned, which also dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and in thy mother Eunice, and I am certain that in thee also.6 For which cause I admonish thee, that thou stir up the grace of God which is in thee, by the imposition of my hands.7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear: but of power, and of love, and of sobriety.8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but labour with the gospel, according to the power of God,

God Our Protector
Whoever goes to the LORD for safety, whoever remains under the protection of the Almighty,can say to him, "You are my defender and protector. You are my God; in you I trust.
He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers and from all deadly diseases. He will cover you with his wings;
you will be safe in his care; his faithfulness will protect and defend you.
You need not fear any dangers at night or sudden attacks during the day or the plagues that strike in the dark or the evils that kill in daylight.
and so no disaster will strike you, no violence will come near your home.God will put his angels in charge of you to protect you wherever you go.
I chose you from the world, to go and bear fruit that will last, says the Lord.

ज्या यहूद्यांनी त्याच्यावर विश्वास ठेविला त्यांना येशू म्हणाला, तुम्ही माझ्या वचनांतराहिला तर खरोखर माझे शिष्य आहा; तुम्हांला सत्य समजेल व सत्य तुम्हांला बंधकमुक्त करील. ते त्याला म्हणाले, आम्ही अब्राहामाचे वंशज आहो व कधीही कोणाच्या दास्यांत नव्हतो; तर तुम्ही बंधमुक्त व्हाल असे तुम्ही कसे म्हणता ?येशूने त्यांना उत्तर दिले, मी तुम्हांला खचित खचित सांगतो, जो कोणी पाप करितो तो पापाचा दास आहे. दास घरात सदासर्वदा राहत नाही, पुत्र सदासर्वदा राहतो. म्हणून जर पुत्र तुम्हांला बंधमुक्त करील तर तुम्ही खरेखुरे बंधकमुक्त व्हाल. तुम्ही अब्राहामाचे वंशज आहा हे मला ठाऊक आहे, तरी तुम्ही तुम्हांमध्ये माझ्या वचनाला जागा नाही; म्हणून तुम्ही मला जिवे मारावयास पाहता. मी पित्याजवळ जे पाहिले ते बोलतो, तसेच तुम्ही आपल्या पित्यापासून जे ऐकले ते करिता.त्यांनी त्याला उत्तर दिले, आमचा पिता अब्राहम आहे. येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, तुम्हीअब्राहामाची मुले आहा तर अब्राहामाची कृत्ये करा; परंतु ज्याने देवापासून ऐकलेले सत्य तुम्हाला सांगितले त्या मनुष्याला म्हणजे मला तुम्ही आता जिवे मारावयास पाहता; अब्राहामने असे केले नाही. तुम्ही आपल्या पित्याची कृत्ये करिता. ते त्याला म्हणाले, आमचा जन्म व्यभिचारापासून झाला नाही. आम्हांस एकच पिता म्हणजे देव आहे. येशूने त्यांना म्हटले, देव जर तुमचा पिता असता तर तुम्ही माझ्यावर प्रीति केली असती; कारण मी देवापासून निघालो व आलो आहे; मी आपण होऊन आलो नाही, तर त्यानेच मला पाठविले.
प्रभूचे हे शुभवर्तमान
So Jesus said to those who believed in hirn, "If you obey my teaching, you are really my disciples; 32 you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."33 "We are the descendants of Abra- ham," they answered, "and we have never been anybody's slaves. What do you mean, then, by saying, 'You will be free'?"
34 Jesus said to them, "I am telling you the truth: everyone who sins is a slave of sin. 35 A slave does not belong to a family permanently, but a son belongs there for ever. 36 If the Son sets you free, then you will be really free. 37 I know you are Abraham's descendants. Yet you are trying to kill me, because you will not accept my teaching. 38 I talk about what my Father has shown me, but you do what your father has told you."39 They answered him, "Our father is Abraham."
"If you really were Abraham's chil- dren," Jesus replied, "you would dot the same things that he did. 40 All I have ever done is to tell you the truth I heard from God, yet you are trying to kill me. Abraham did nothing like this! 41 You are doing what your father did.""God himself is the only Father we have," they answered, "and we are his true sons."42 Jesus said to them, "If God really were your Father, you would love me, because I came from God and now I am here. I did not come on my own authority, but he sent me.
