First Reading :Job 7:1-4.6-7
Job spoke, saying: "Has not man a hard service on earth, and are not his days like the days of a hired hand? Like a slave who longs for the shadow, and like a hired hand who looks for his wages, so I am allotted months of emptiness, and nights of misery are apportioned to me. When I lie down I say, "When shall I arise? But the night is long, and I am full of tossing till the dawn. My days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle and come to their end without hope. "Remember that my life is a breath; my eye will never again see good.

१आलेलुया !
परमेश्वराचे स्तवन करा,
कारण आमच्या देवाची स्तोत्रे गाणे चांगले आहे;
मनोरम आहे आणि स्तोत्रे गाणे योग्यच आहे.
२ परमेश्वर येरुशलेम पुन्हा बांधून वसवतो,
इस्राएलातील पांगलेल्यांना तो एकत्र करतो,
भग्नहृदयी जनांना तो बरे करतो,
तो त्यांच्या जखमांना पट्ट्या बांधतो,
तो ताऱ्यांची गणती करतो,
तो त्या सर्वांना नावे देतो.
३ आमचा प्रभू थोर आणि महासमर्थ आहे;
त्याची बुद्धी अमर्याद आहे.

Praise the Lord who heals the brokenhearted.
How good to sing psalms to our God;
how pleasant to chant fitting praise!
The Lord builds up Jerusalem
and brings back Israel's exiles. R

he calls each one by its name.
Our Lord is great and almighty; his

वाचक : पौलचे करिथकरांस पहिले पत्र यातून घेतलेले वाचन
"मी सुवार्ता सांगितली नाही तर माझी केवढी दुर्दशा होईल!"
मी जरी सुवार्ता सांगतो तरी मला प्रतिष्ठा मिरविण्याचे कारण नाही. मला ती सांगणे भाग आहे. कारण मी सुवार्ता सांगितली नाही तर माझी केवढी दुर्दशा होईल! मी हे आपण होऊन केले तर मला वेतन मिळेल आणि आपण होऊन केले नाही तरी माझ्यावर जबाबदारी सोपविली आहे. तर मग माझे वेतन काय ? मी सुवार्तेविषयीचा आपला हक्क पूर्णपणे बजावावा म्हणून मी सुवार्ता फुकट सांगावी.
मी सर्वांपासून स्वतंत्र असताही अधिक लोक मिळविण्यासाठी आपणाला सर्वांचा दास केले आहे. दुर्बळांना मिळविण्यासाठी दुर्बळांना मी दुर्बळ झालो. मी सर्वांना सर्व काही झालो आहे, मी सर्व प्रकारे अनेकांचे तारण साधावे. मी सर्व काही सुवार्तेकरिता करतो, अशासाठी की, मी इतरांबरोबर तिचा भागीदार व्हावे.
Second Reading:
1 Corinthians 9:16-19.22-23
Brethren: If I preach the gospel, that gives me no ground for boasting. For necessity is laid upon me. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel! For if I do this of my own will, I have a reward, but if not of my own will, I am still entrusted with a stewardship. What then is my reward? That in my preaching I may present the gospel free of charge, so as not to make full use of my right in the gospel. For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them. To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.

आपला प्रभू येशू ख्रिस्त ह्याचा पिता, हा आमचे अंतश्चक्षू प्रकाशित करो, म्हणजे त्यामुळे त्याच्या पाचारणामुळे निर्माण होणारी आशा कोणती ही तुम्ही ओळखून घ्यावी.

शुभवर्तमान मार्क १:२९-३९
वाचक : मार्क लिखितपवित्र शुभवर्तमानातून घेतलेले वाचन
"नाना प्रकारच्या रोगांनी पीडलेल्या पुष्कळ माणसांना येशूने बरे केले."
येशू सभास्थानातातून निघाल्यावर याकोब व योहान ह्यांच्याबरोबर शिमोन आणि आंद्रेया ह्याच्या घरी गेला. शिमोनची सासू तापाने आजारी पडली होती, तिच्याविषयीलगेच त्यांनी त्याला सांगितले. तेव्हा त्याने जवळ जाऊन तिच्या हाताला धरून उठवले आणि तिचा ताप निघाला व ती त्यांची सेवा करू लागली.त्या सायंकाळी, सूर्यास्त झाल्यावर लोकांनी सर्व आजारी लोकांना व भूतग्रस्तांना त्याच्याकडे आणले आणि सबंध शहर दाराशी लोटले. तेव्हा नाना प्रकारच्या रोगांनी पीडलेल्या पुष्कळ माणसांना त्याने बरे केले आणि अनेक भुते काढली; त्या भुतांनी त्याला ओळखले म्हणून त्याने त्यांना बोलू दिले नाही. मग तो सकाळी मोठ्या पहाटेस उठून बाहेर रानात जाऊन तेथे त्याने प्रार्थना केली. तेव्हा शिमोन आणि त्याचे सोबती त्याचा शोध करीत गेले. तो सापडल्यावर ते त्याला म्हणाले, “सर्व लोक आपला शोध करत आहेत." तेव्हा येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “मला आसपासच्या गावात उपदेश करिता यावा म्हणून आपण दुसरीकडे जाऊ, कारण ह्याच उद्देशाने मी निघालो आहे." मग तो संबध गालिलात त्यांच्या सभास्थानांतून उपदेश करीत व भुते काढीत फिरला.
प्रभूचे हे शुभवर्तमान
