आजच्या पहिल्या वाचनात आपण पाहतो की एका पांगळ्या भिकाऱ्याला | येशूच्या नावाने बरे केल्यावद्दल याजक मंडळी व रोमन अधिकाऱ्यांनी पेत्राला व शिष्यांना जाब विचारला असता पेत्राने साक्ष देत म्हटले, 'नासोरी येशू ख्रिस्ताच्या नावाने हा मनुष्य बरा होऊन तुमच्या समोर उभा राहिला आहे.' प्रभू येशू ख्रिस्ताच्या नावाने झालेल्या अशा अनेक चमत्कारांमुळे प्रेषितांना धैर्य, आत्मिक बळ आणि शहाणपण प्राप्त झाले आणि त्यांच्यात एक नवीन चैतन्य संचारले. प्रेषितांच्या साक्ष देण्याने व सुवार्ता प्रचारामुळे अनेकांनी ख्रिस्ताच्या नावाने बाप्तिस्मा स्वीकारला व ख्रिस्तमंडळी वाढत गेली.

"तारण दुसऱ्या कोणाकडून नाही."
पेत्र आणि योहान लोकांबरोबर बोलत असता त्यांच्यावर याजक, मंदिराचा सरदार व सदुकी हे चालून आले. कारण ते लोकांना शिक्षण देऊन, येशूच्या द्वारे मेलेल्यांमधून पुन्हा उठणे आहे असे उघडपणे सांगत होते, ह्याचा त्यांना संताप आला. तेव्हा त्यांनी त्यांना अटक केली आणि संध्याकाळ झाली होती म्हणून सकाळपर्यंत त्यांना चौकीत ठेवले. तथापि वचन ऐकणाऱ्यातील पुष्कळांनी विश्वास ठेवला आणि अशा पुरुषांची संख्या सुमारे पाच हजार झाली.
दुसऱ्या दिवशी यहुद्यांचे अधिकारी, वडील व शास्त्री, हे आणि प्रमुख याजक हन्ना आणि कयफा, योहान, आलेक्सांद्र व प्रमुख याजकाच्या कुळातील जितके होते तितके येरुशलेममध्ये एकत्र जमले आणि त्यांनी त्यांना मध्ये उभे करून विचारले, "तुम्ही हे कोणत्या सामर्थ्याने किंवा कोणत्या नावाने केले ?" तेव्हा पेत्र पवित्र आत्म्याने पूर्ण होऊन त्यांना म्हणाला, "अहो लोकाधिकाऱ्यांनो व वडीलजनांनो, एका दुर्बल मनुष्यावर कसा उपकार झाला म्हणजे तो कशाने बरा झाला, ह्या विषयी आमची आज चौकशी व्हायची असेल, तर तुम्हा सर्वांना व सर्व इस्राएल लोकांना हे कळावे की, ज्याला तुम्ही क्रुसावर खिळून मारले, ज्याला देवाने मेलेल्यांमधून उठवले, त्या नाझरेथकर येशू ख्रिस्ताच्या नावाने हा मनुष्य बरा होऊन तुमच्यापुढे उभा राहिला आहे. तुम्ही बांधकाम करणाऱ्यांनी तुच्छ मानलेला जो दगड कोनशिला झाला तो हाच आहे आणि तारण दुसऱ्या कोणाकडून नाही, कारण ज्याच्याद्वारे आपले तारण होईल असे दुसरे कोणतेही नाव आकाशाखाली मनुष्यांमध्ये दिलेले नाही.
प्रभूचा शब्द आहे.

Acts 4:1-12
In those days: As Peter and john were speaking to the people, after the Lame man was healed, the priests and the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came upon them, greatly annoyed because Dey were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection from the dead. And they arrested them and put them in custody until the next day, for it was already evening. But many of those who had heard the word believed, and the number of the men came to about five thousand. On the next day their rulers and elders and scribes gathered together in Jerusalem, with Annas the high priest and Caiaphas and John and Alexander. and all who were of the high-priestly family. And when they had set them in the midst, they enquired, "By what power or by what name did you do this?" Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, "Rulers of the people and elders, if we are being examined today concerning a good deed done to a crippled man, by what means this man has been healed, let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead - by him this man is standing before you well. This Jesus is the stone that was rejected by you, the builders, which has become the cornerstone. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

प्रतिसाद : बाधणाऱ्यांनी नापसंत केलेला दगड कोनशिला झाला आहे.
१) प्रभूला धन्यवाद द्या कारण तो चांगला आहे.
त्याचे वात्सल्य अनंत आहे.
आता इस्राएलच्या घराण्याने म्हणावे,
“त्याचे वात्सल्य अनंत आहे."
प्रभूला भिणाऱ्यांनी म्हणावे,
"त्याचे वात्सल्य अनंत आहे."
२) बांधणाऱ्यांनी नापसंत केलेला दगड कोनशिला झाला आहे.
ही परमेश्वराची करणी आहे. ती आमच्या दृष्टीने अद्भुत आहे.
प्रभूचा हा दिवस आहे, ह्या दिवशी आपण उल्हास व आनंद करुया.
प्रभो, आमची भरभराट कर.
३) प्रभो, आम्हाला वाचव.
प्रभूचे नाम धारण करून येणारा धन्य आहे.
प्रभू सदनातून आम्ही तुम्हांला आशीर्वाद देतो.
प्रभू परमेश्वर आमचा प्रकाश आहे.

शुभवर्तमान योहान २१:१-१४

“येशूने येऊन भाकर घेतली व त्यांना दिली."
तिबिर्याच्या समुद्राजवळ येशू शिष्यांना पुन्हा प्रकट झाला. शिमोन पेत्र, दिदुम म्हटलेला थोमा, गालिलातील काना येथला नथनेल, जब्दीचे मुलगे व त्याच्या शिष्यांपैकी दुसरे दोघेजण हे एकत्र जमले असता, शिमोन पेत्र त्यांना म्हणाला, “मी मासे धरावयास जातो," ते त्याला म्हणाले, “आम्हीही तुझ्याबरोबर येतो." तेव्हा ते निघून मचव्यात बसले, पण त्या रात्री त्यांना काहीही मिळाले नाही.
मग पहाट होत असता येशू समुद्रकिनाऱ्यावर उभा होता, तथापि तो येशू आहे असे शिष्यांनी ओळखले नव्हते. तेव्हा येशूने त्यांना म्हटले, “मुलांनो, तुमच्याजवळ काही खावयाला आहे काय ?” त्यांनी त्याला उत्तर दिले, “नाही." त्याने त्यांना म्हटले, “मचव्याच्या उजव्या बाजूला जाळे टाका म्हणजे तुम्हांला भरपूर सापडेल." म्हणून त्यांनी ते टाकले, तेव्हा माशांचा घोळका लागल्यामुळे ते त्यांना ओढवेना. ज्या शिष्यावर येशूची प्रीती होती तो पेत्रला म्हणाला, “अरे, हा तर प्रभू आहे!" हे ऐकून शिमोन पेत्रने अंगरखा घालून तो कमरेशी गुंडाळून घेतला, कारण तो उघडा होता आणि त्याने समुद्रात उडी टाकली. दुसरे शिष्य माशांचे जाळे ओढीत होडीतून आले, कारण ते किनाऱ्यापासून दूर नव्हते, सुमारे दोनशे हातांवर होते.
मग किनाऱ्यावर उतरल्यावर त्यांनी कोळशाचा विस्तव आणि त्यावर घातलेली मासळी व भाकर पाहिली. येशूने त्यांना म्हटले, "तुम्ही इतक्यात धरलेल्या मासळीतून काही आणा." तेव्हा शिमोन पेत्रने मचव्यावर चढून एकशे त्रेपन्न मोठ्या माशांनी भरलेले जाळे किनाऱ्यावर ओढून आणले, तितके असतानाही जाळे फाटले नाही. येशू त्यांना म्हणाला, “या, न्याहारी करा." तेव्हा तो प्रभू आहे असे त्यांना समजले, म्हणून “आपण कोण आहा?" हे त्याला विचारायला शिष्यांतील कोणी धजला नाही. येशूने येऊन भाकर घेतली व त्यांना दिली, तशीच मासळीही दिली. येशू मेलेल्यातून उठल्यावर आपल्या शिष्यांना प्रकट झाल्याची ही तिसरी वेळ.
"प्रभूचे हे शुभवर्तमान
सर्व : हे ख्रिस्ता तुझी स्तुती असो.

John 21:1-14
At that time: Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias, and he revealed himself in this way. Simon Peter, Thomas (called the Twin), Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together. Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We will go with you." Theywent out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. Just as daywas breaking, Jesus stood on the shore; yet the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to them, "Children, do you have any fish?" They answered him, "No." He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish. That disciple whom Jesus loved therefore said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment, for he was stripped for work, and threw himself into the sea. The other disciples came in the boat, dragging the net full of fish, for they were not far from the land, but about a hundred yards off. When they got out on land, they saw a charcoal fire in place, with fish laid out on it, and bread. Jesus said to them, "Bring some of the fish that you have just caught." So Simon Peter went aboard and hauled the net ashore, full of large fish, one hundred fifty-three of them. And although there were so many, the net was not torn. Jesus said to them, "Come and have breakfast." Now none of the disciples dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord. Jesus came and took the bread and gave it to them, and so with the fish. This was now the third time that Jesus was revealed to the disciples after he was raised from the dead.
Praise the Lord Jesus Christ .
चिंतन: भूतकाळ सोडून द्या, त्याची योजना स्वीकाराः भूतकाळात अडकणे, परिचित दिनचर्या आणि आठवणींमध्ये सांत्वन शोधणे सोपे आहे. परंतु त्यामुळे निराशा आणि स्थिरता येऊ शकते. आजच्या शुभवर्तमानात शिष्यांनी हे अनुभवले पेत्र त्याच्या जुन्या आयुष्यात परतला, रात्रभर काहीही न पकडता मासेमारी करत होता. पण नंतर येशू प्रकट झाला, आशा आणि नवीन सुरुवात देत होता. कधीकधी, आपल्या आयुष्यातील महत्त्वाच्या क्षणी, पेत्राप्रमाणे, आपण आपल्या भूतकाळाला चिकटून राहतो आपल्या बोटी, जाळे, नातेसंबंध आणि महत्त्वाकांक्षा.
