'नाही; तुम्ही निंदण गोळा करताना कदाचित गहूही उपटाल. कापणीपर्यंत दोन्ही बरोबर वाढू द्या; The disciples' idea of separating the good from the bad runs the risk of rooting out the good along with the bad.

• परमगुरू, वर्तनसाक्षी (४१७)

  आजच्या शुभवर्तमानात शेतातील निंदणाचा दृष्टांत देऊन प्रभू येशू  देवराज्याविषयी शिकवण देत आहे. शेतातील चांगले बीज म्हणजेच देवाचे वचन जे माणसाच्या अंतःकरणात पेरले जाते. देवाचे वचन आपल्याला सकारात्मकतेने जीवन आचरण करण्यास प्रेरणा देत असते. मात्र त्यामध्ये उगवणारे निंदण म्हणजेच मोह, स्वार्थ आणि दुष्टपणा यामुळे जीवनात नकारात्मकता वाढत असते. पावित्र्य, परोपकार आणि सकारात्मकतेचा भाव  जीवनात जोपासण्यासाठी देवाच्या वचनाचे बीज आपल्या जीवनात अंकुरीत  झाले पाहिजे.

देवाचे वचन जे बायबलच्या पानोपानी आहे त्याचे वाचन म्हणजे  प्रभूशब्दाचे वाचन प्रत्येक ख्रिस्ती माणसाने दररोज करायला हवे. आपले जीवन  देवाच्या वचनावर अवलंबून असायला हवे तरच जीवनात परमेश्वराच्या प्रेमाचा  अंकूर वाढायला लागेल. जीवनात आपण पावलागणिक अडखळतो, चुकतो व  अपयश येते. शुभवर्तमानात सांगितल्याप्रमाणे सैतान आपले मन भरकटवून  पापाने व नाशाने भरलेले निंदण पेरण्यास तयारच असतो. म्हणूनच जीवनात

 सावध राहून परमेश्वराच्या वचनाला आणि प्रभूयेशूच्या शिकवणूकीला आपण  प्राधान्य देवून दररोज आपल्या जीवनाचे सिंहावलोकन करायला हवे.

 :यिर्मया ७:१-११

वाचन : यिर्मया या पुस्तकातून घेतलेले वाचन

"माझे नाव दिलेले हे मंदिर लुटारूंची गुहा झाली आहे काय ?"

 यिर्मयाला परमेश्वरापासून वचन प्राप्त झाले: “परमेश्वराच्या मंदिरदारात उभा राहा आणि हे वचन जाहीर कर: यहुदाचे सर्व लोकहो, परमेश्वराचे भजनपूजन करण्यासाठी ह्या दारांनी आत जाता ते सर्व तुम्ही परमेश्वराचे वचन ऐका. सेनाधीश परमेश्वर, इस्राएलचा देव म्हणतो, आपले मार्ग आणि आपली कृती सुधारा, म्हणजे ह्या स्थळी मी तुमची वस्ती करवीन. 'हे परमेश्वराचे मंदिर, हे परमेश्वराचे मंदिर, हे परमेश्वराचे मंदिर' असे बोलून लटक्या भाषणावर भिस्त ठेवू नका.

जर तुम्ही आपले मार्ग आणि आपली कृती पूर्णपणे सुधाराल, माणसामाणसांत खरा न्याय कराल, परका, पोरका आणि विधवा यांस जाचणार नाही, या स्थळी निर्दोष रक्त पाडणार नाही आणि अन्य दैवतांचे अनुकरण करून आपली हानी करून घेणार नाही, तर जो देश, जे स्थळ तुमच्या पूर्वजांना मी युगानुयुगे दिले आहे त्यात तुमची वस्ती होईल असे मी करीन.” “पाहा, ज्यापासून काही लाभ नाही असल्या लटक्या वचनांवर तुम्ही श्रद्धा ठेवता हे काय ? तुम्ही चोरी, खून, व्यभिचार करता, खोटी शपथ वाहता, बआलच्या मूर्तीला धूप दाखवता आणि ज्यांना तुम्ही ओळखत नाही अशा अन्य देवांच्या मागे लागता आणि मग येऊन ज्या मंदिराला मी आपले नाम दिले आहे त्यात माझ्यासमोर उभे राहता आणि 'आमची मुक्ती झाली आहे' म्हणून ही सर्व अमंगळ कृत्ये करायला आम्हांला हरकत नाही, असे मनात म्हणता. माझे नाम दिलेले हे मंदिर तुमच्या दृष्टीने लुटारूंची गुहा झाली आहे काय? पाहा, हे माझ्या लक्षात येऊन चुकले आहे,” असे परमेश्वर म्हणतो.

हा प्रभूचा शब्द आहे

First Reading : Jeremiah 7:1-11

The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: "Stand in the gate of the Lord's house, and proclaim there this word, and say, hear the word of the Lord, all you men of Judah who enter these gates to worship the Lord. Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Amend your ways and your deeds, and I will let you dwell in this place. Do not trust in these deceptive words: This is the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord, the temple of the Lord. For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly execute justice one with another, if you do not oppress the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow, or shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not go after other gods to your own harm, then I will let you dwell in this place, in the land that I gave of old to your fathers for ever. Behold, you trust in deceptive words to no avail. Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, make offerings to Baal, and go after other gods that you have not known, and then come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, 'We are delivered!' - only to go on doing all these abominations? Has this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, I myself have seen it, declares the Lord."

This is the word of God

प्रतिसाद : हे सेनाधीश परमेश्वरा, तुझे निवासस्थान किती रम्य आहे!

१) माझ्या जिवाला परमेश्वराच्या अंगणाची

 उत्कंठा लागली असून तो झुरत आहे. 

माझा जीव आणि माझा देह जिवंत देवाला

 हर्षानं आरोळी मारत आहेत.

२) हे सेनाधीश परमेश्वरा,

माझ्या राजा, माझ्या देवा, 

तुझ्या वेदीजवळ चिमणीला घरटे करायला

 आणि निळवीला आपल्या पिलांसाठी घरटे

 बांधायला स्थळ मिळाले आहे.

३) तुझ्या घरात राहणाऱ्यांची केवढी धन्यता !

 ते निरंतर तुझी स्तुती करत राहतील.

 ज्या मनुष्यांना तुझ्यापासून सामर्थ्य प्राप्त होते ते केवढे धन्य !

त्यांची शक्ती अधिकाधिक वाढत जाते. 

४) खरोखर तुझ्या अंगणातील एक दिवस 

हा सहस्र दिवसांपेक्षा उत्तम आहे.

दुष्टपणाच्या तंबूत राहण्यापेक्षा माझ्या देवाच्या

घराचा द्वारपाल होणे मला इष्ट वाटते.

Psalm Psalm 84:3, 4, 5-6a and 8a, 11

How lovely is your dwelling place, O Lord of hosts!

My soul is longing and yearning 

for the courts of the Lord.

My heart and my flesh cry out 

to the living God. R

Even the sparrow finds a home, 

and the swallow a nest for herself 

in which she sets her young, at your altars, 

O Lord of hosts, my king and my God. R.

Blessed are they who dwell in your house,

 forever singing your praise.

Blessed the people whose strength is in you,

 they walk with ever-growing strength. R

One day within your courts

is better than a thousand elsewhere.

The threshold of the house of God 

I prefer to the dwellings of the wicked.

आलेलुया, आलेलुया!

 माझा जीव परमेश्वराची अपेक्षा करतो, 

मी त्याच्या वचनाची आशा धरतो.

 आलेलुया!

 Receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

शुभवर्तमान मत्तय १३:२४-२०

वाचक :  मत्तयलिखित  पवित्र शुभवर्तमानातून घेतलेले वाचन

"कापणीपर्यंत दोन्ही बरोबर वाढू द्या.'

येशूने लोकसमुदायापुढे दुसरा एक दाखला मांडला; “कोणा एका मनुष्याने आपल्या शेतात चांगले बी पेरले त्याच्यासारखे स्वर्गाचे राज्य आहे. लोक झोपेत असताना त्याचा वैरी येऊन गव्हामध्ये निंदण पेरून गेला. पण जेव्हा पाला फुटला आणि दाणे आले तेव्हा निंदणही दिसले. तेव्हा घरधन्याच्या दासानी येऊन त्याला म्हटले, 'महाराज आपण आपल्या शेतामध्ये चांगले बी पेरले ना ? तर मग त्यात निंदण कोठून आले?' तो त्यांना म्हणाला, 'हे काम कोण्या वैऱ्यांचे आहे.' दासांनी त्याला म्हटले, 'तर आम्ही जाऊन ते जमा करावे अशी आपली इच्छा आहे काय ?' तो म्हणाला, 'नाही; तुम्ही निंदण गोळा करताना कदाचित गहूही उपटाल. कापणीपर्यंत दोन्ही बरोबर वाढू द्या; मग कापणीच्या वेळेला मी कापणाऱ्यांना सांगेन की पहिल्याने निंदण गोळा करा आणि जाळण्यासाठी त्याच्या पेंढ्या बांधा, आणि गहू माझ्या कोठारात साठवा.”

लोक : प्रभूचे हे शुभवर्तमान . 

सर्व : हे ख्रिस्ता  तुझी स्तुती असो. 

Gospel Reading:  

Matthew 13:24-30

At that time Jesus put another parable before the crowds, saying, "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field, but while his men were sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and went away. So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared also. And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, 'Master, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have weeds?' He said to them, 'An enemy has done this. So the servants said to him, 'Then do you want us to go and gather them?' But he said, 'No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, "Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn'."

Reflection: Jesus compares the Kingdom to a man sowing good seed in his field. But an enemy sows weeds without his knowledge and they grow side by side. The weed in question is a noxious plant that in its early stages closely resembles wheat and cannot be readily distinguished from it. The servants want to remove the weed but the householder's response is one of tolerance for the present. The disciples' idea of separating the good from the bad runs the risk of rooting out the good along with the bad. The task of judging between good and bad is left to the householder at harvest time. Each of us is offered an opportunity to be part of the Kingdom and time to flourish in it but, if found unworthy, we face the possibility of expulsion from the Kingdom.

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ .

                                                 

चिंतन:चांगले बी"

प्रत्येक ख्रिस्ती माणसाला वाटते की, सी एक चांगले जीवन जगावे. पण ह्या आधुनिक

युगात हे फार मोठे आव्हान आहे. आजच्या दाखल्यात पेरणारा देव आहे. बी म्हणजे चांगली माणसे, जमीन म्हणजे जग. देवाने चांगले तेच पेरले. सुंदर निसर्ग, माणूसकीने भरलेली माणसे तयार केली. पण शत्रू येऊन चांगल्या बियात निंदण पेरून गेले. निंदण म्हणजे वाईट गोष्ट. झोपेत असताना सैतान आपला फायदा घेतो. झोपेत असणे म्हणजे जागृत नसणे. सरास विचार न करणे. वाईट संगत, वाईट चित्रपट माणसाच्या मनात निंदण पेरत असतात. नोकरांना निंदण काढण्याची इच्छा असते. पण मालक त्यांना कापणीपर्यंत थांबण्यास सांगतो कापणी म्हणजे जगाचा शेवट. देव कोणाचाही न्याय पटकन करीन नाही. दोघांना तो वाढू देतो. देवाने माणसाला बुद्धी व वेळ दिलेली आहे. चांगले व वाईट ते माणसांनी निवडावे. कापणीची वेळ म्हणजे मरण, शेवट. कापणीपर्यंत वाईट जीवन जगलो तर आपली रवानगी नरकात होणार. पण पश्चात्ताप करून चांगले जीवन जगलो तर आपल्याला कोठारात म्हणजे स्वर्गात प्रवेश मिळणार. वाईटाचा शेवट वाईटच होणार. प्रत्येक वाईट बी आपल्याबरोबर स्वतःचा नाश घेऊन येत असते. अजून वेळ गेलेली नाही. कापणीची वेळ कधी येईल ते सांगता येत नाही. उद्याचा भरवसा नाही. म्हणून देवाला शरण जाऊन निंदणाचे रुपांतर चांगल्या गहूत करू

प्रार्थना : हे प्रभू येशू, तुझा सहवास राहून तुम्ही वचने ग्रहण करण्यास आम्हाला प्रेरणा दे, आमेन.
