मी तुम्हाला खरे सांगतो, ह्या गरीब विधवेने सर्वापेक्षा अधिक टाकले आहे. this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:

मी, स्वतः योहान ह्याने पाहिले, तो पहा, कोकरा लियोन पर्वतावर उभा राहिलेला दृष्टीस पडला. त्याच्याबरोबर त्याचे नाम आणि त्याच्या पित्याचे नाम कपाळांवर लिहिलेली एक लक्ष चव्वेचाळीस हजार इसम होते आणि अनेक जलप्रवाहांच्या ध्वनीसारखी व प्रचंड मेघगर्जनेच्या ध्वनीसारखी स्वर्गातून निघालेली वाणी मी ऐकली आणि जी वाणी मी ऐकली ती, जसे काय वीणा वाजवणारे आपल्या वीणा वाजवत आहेत, अशी होती. ते राजासनासमोर आणि चार प्राणी आणि वडीलजन ह्यांच्यासमोर जसे काय एक नवे गीत गात होते. ते गीत पृथ्वीवरून विकत घेतलेले एक लक्ष चव्वेचाळीस हजार लोक ह्यांच्याशिवाय कोणाला शिकता येत नव्हते. जेथे कोठे कोकरा जातो तेथे त्याच्यामागे जाणारे ते हे आहेत. ते देवासाठी आणि कोकरासाठी प्रथमफळ असे माणसांतून विकत घेतलेले आहेत. त्यांच्या तोंडात असत्य आढळले नाही, ते निष्कलंक आहेत.

प्रभूचा शब्द.

First Reading : : Revelation 14: 1-3, 4b-5

And I beheld, and lo a lamb stood upon mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty-four thousand, having his name, and the name of his Father, written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven, as the noise of many waters, and as the voice of great thunder; and the voice which I heard, was as the voice of harpers, harping on their harps. And they sung as it were a new canticle, before the throne, and before the four living creatures, and the ancients; and no man could say the canticle, but those hundred forty-four thousand, who were purchased from the earth. These follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were purchased from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb: And in their mouth there was found no lie; for they are without spot before the throne of God.

This is the word of God

प्रतिसाद : स्तोत्र २३:१-६

प्रतिसाद : हे देवा, तुझ्या दर्शनासाठी आतुर असलेले हेच लोक होत.

१) पृथ्वी आणि तिच्यावरील सर्वकाही परमेश्वराचे आहे जग आणि त्यात राहणारे परमेश्वराचे आहेत. कारण त्यानेच सागरांवर तिचा पाया घातला त्यानेच जलप्रवाहांवर तिला स्थिर केले.

२) परमेश्वराचा पर्वतावर कोण चढेल? त्याच्या पवित्र स्थानात कोण उभा राहील ? ज्याचे हात स्वच्छ आहेत आणि ज्याचे मन शुद्ध आहे, जो आपले चित्त असत्याकडे लावत नाही तो. 

३) त्याला परमेश्वरापासून आशीर्वाद मिळेल, आपल्या उद्धारक देवाच्या हातून तो नीतिमान ठरेल त्याला शरण जाणारे हेच लोक होत, हे याकोबच्या देवा, तुझ्या दर्शनासाठी आतुर असलेले हेच लोक होत.

R. (6) Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.

1The earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof: 

the world, and all they that dwell therein.

2 For he hath founded it upon the seas; 

and hath prepared it upon the rivers.

R. Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.

3 Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord: 

or who shall stand in his holy place?

4 The innocent in hands, and clean of heart, 

who hath not taken his soul in vain.

R. Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.

5 He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, 

and mercy from God his Saviour.

6 This is the generation of them that seek him, 

of them that seek the face of the God of Jacob.

R. Lord, this is the people that longs to see your face.

सरळ उभे राहा आणि वर पाहा, कारण तुमचा मुक्तिसमय जवळ आला आहे.

शुभवर्तमान   लूक २१:१-४

वाचक :लूकलिखित पवित्र शुभवर्तमानातून घेतलेले वाचन

 येशूने दृष्टी वर करून धनवानांना आपली दाने मंदिराच्या भांडारात टाकताना पाहिले. त्याने एका गरीब विधवेलाही तेथे दोन छोटी नाणी टाकताना पाहिले. तेव्हा तो म्हणाला, मी तुम्हाला खरे सांगतो, ह्या गरीब विधवेने सर्वापेक्षा अधिक टाकले आहे. कारण त्या सर्वांनी आपल्या समृद्धीतून दानभांडारात टाकले, हिने तर आपल्या कमाईतून आपली सर्व उपजीविका टाकली आहे."

प्रभूचे हे शुभवर्तमान

सर्व : हे ख्रिस्ता  तुझी स्तुती असो.

Gospel Reading :Luke 21: 1-4

And looking on, he saw the rich men cast their gifts into the treasury. And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in two brass mites.And he said: Verily I say to you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:For all these have of their abundance cast into the offerings of God: but she of her want, hath cast in all the living that she had.

This is the Gospel of the Lord 

Praise the Lord Jesus Christ .

चिंतन:  विधवेविषयी बोलताना येशू म्हणाला, “तिने आपल्या गरिबीतून / उपजीवीकेतून सर्वकाही दिले.” ज्याप्रमाणे विधवेने तिच्याकडे देण्यासारखे काही शिल्लक नसतानाही खूप औदार्य दाखवले. तिच्याप्रमाणे आज अनेक धार्मिक व्रतस्थ भगिनी, कुमारिका, सर्वसाधारण स्त्रिया चर्चच्या दैनंदिन कार्यात भरपूर योगदान देत आहेत. आपल्या स्वतःच्या धर्मग्रामाकडे लक्ष दिले तर आपणांस दिसून येईल की, आज चर्चमधील प्रत्येक क्षेत्रात स्त्रिया केंद्रस्थानी आहेत. त्या विधवेप्रमाणे पूर्ण निःस्वार्थीपणा व भक्ती दाखवतात. जीवनात अडचणींच्या प्रसंगी आज अनेक स्रीया उदारपणे इतरांच्या सेवेसाठी स्वतःला झोकून देतात. त्या स्त्रियांसाठी आपण प्रार्थना करू या. त्यांच्या उपस्थितीबद्दल तसेच जे कार्य करीत त्यांची प्रशंसा करू या. व त्यांचे अनुकरण करण्याचे आव्हान स्वीकारूया. 

प्रार्थना: हे प्रभू येशू, पुनरुत्थानाचे रहस्य जाणण्यास व श्रद्धेत वाढण्यास मला कृपा दे, आमेन...
