आंजेला ह्या २७ जानेवारी १५४० रोजी मरण पावल्या. इ. स. १८०७ साली त्यांना संत मालिकेत गणण्यात येऊ लागले.
चिंतन : “जबरदस्तीने काहीही मिळविण्याचा प्रयत्न करू नका. देवाने प्रत्येकाला स्वतंत्र इच्छाशक्ती आणि विवेक स्वातंत्र्य दिलेले आहे. आपली आज्ञा पाळावी म्हणून तो कोणालाही जबरदस्ती करीत नाही.” • संत आंजेला मेरिसी

"ख्रिस्त पुष्कळांची पापे स्वतःवर घेण्यासाठी एकदाच अर्पिला गेला आणि जे त्याची आतुरतेने वाट पाहतात त्यांना तारणासाठी तो दुसऱ्यांदा दिसेल."
पाचारण केलेल्यांना अभिवचन दिलेले सार्वकालिक वतन मिळावे म्हणून ख्रिस्त नव्या कराराचा मध्यस्थ झाला आहे, कारण पहिल्या कराराखाली असताना त्यांनी केलेल्या अपराधांपासून क्षमा मिळवून देण्यासाठी ख्रिस्त मरण पावला.
खऱ्या गोष्टींचे प्रतिरूप म्हणजे हातांनी केलेले पवित्रस्थान ह्यात ख्रिस्त गेला नाही, तर आपल्यासाठी देवासमोर उभे राहण्यास प्रत्यक्ष स्वर्गात गेला आणि जसा प्रमुख याजक प्रतिवर्षी स्वतःचे नसलेले रक्त घेऊन परमपवित्रस्थानात जातो, तसे त्याला वारंवार स्वतःचे अर्पण करावयाचे नव्हते; तसे असते तर जगाच्या स्थापनेपासून त्याला वारंवार दुःख सोसावे लागले असते. पण आता तो एकदाच युगाच्या समाप्तीस आत्मयज्ञ करून पापे नाहीशी करण्यासाठी प्रकट झाला आहे. ज्याअर्थी माणसांना एकदाच मरणे आणि त्यानंतर न्याय होणे नेमून ठेवले आहे, त्याअर्थी ख्रिस्त पुष्कळांची पापे स्वतःवर घेण्यासाठी एकदाच अर्पिला गेला आणि जे त्याची वाट पाहतात त्यांना पापसंबंधात नव्हे तर तारणासाठी तो दुसऱ्यांदा दिसेल.

And therefore he is the mediator of the new testament: that by means of his death, for the redemption of those transgressions, which were under the former testament, they that are called may receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For Jesus is not entered into the holies made with hands, the patterns of the true: but into heaven itself, that he may appear now in the presence of God for us. Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holies, every year with the blood of others: For then he ought to have suffered often from the beginning of the world: but now once at the end of ages, he hath appeared for the destruction of sin, by the sacrifice of himself.And as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgment:
So also Christ was offered once to exhaust the sins of many; the second time he shall appear without sin to them that expect him unto salvation.

"हा सैतानाचा शेवट होय. "
येरुशलेमहून आलेले शास्त्री म्हणत होते, "येशूला बालजबूल लागला आहे आणि तो त्या भुतांच्या अधिकाऱ्याच्या साहाय्याने भुते काढतो.” तेव्हा येशू त्यांना आपणाजवळ बोलावून म्हणू लागला, “सैतान सैतानाला कसा काढील ? आपसांत फूट पडलेले राज्य टिकत नाही. आपसांत फूट पडलेले घरही टिकत नाही. सैतान स्वतःवरच उठला आणि त्याच्यात फूट पडली तर तोही टिकणार नाही, त्याचा शेवट होणार. बलवान माणसाला आधी बांधून टाकल्याशिवाय कोणालाही त्याच्या घरात शिरून त्याची मालमत्ता लुटता येणार नाही, त्याला बांधल्यावरच त्याचे घर लुटता येईल.
मी तुम्हांला नक्की सांगतो की, मानवपुत्रांना सर्व प्रकारच्या पापांची आणि त्यांनी केलेल्या दुर्भाषणांची क्षमा होईल, परंतु जो कोणी पवित्र आत्म्याची निंदा करील त्याला क्षमा नाहीच, तर तो सार्वकालिक पापाचा दोषी आहे. त्याला अशुद्ध आत्मा लागला आहे," असे ते म्हणत होते म्हणून तो हे बोलला

Mark 3: 22-30
And the scribes who were come down from Jerusalem, said: He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of devils he casteth out devils. And after he had called them together, he said to them in parables: How can Satan cast out Satan? And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand. And if Satan be risen up against himself, he is divided, and cannot stand, but hath an end. No man can enter into the house of a strong man and rob him of his goods, unless he first bind the strong man, and then shall he plunder his house. Amen I say to you, that all sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and the blasphemies wherewith they shall blaspheme: But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost, shall never have forgiveness, but shall be guilty of an everlasting sin. Because they said: He hath an unclean spirit.

चिंतन:
सैतान सापळा रचतो. आपणांस गुलाम बनवितो. अविश्वासाची, अंधाराची अघोरी कृत्य करण्यासाठी तो आपणांस भुरळ पाडतो. शुद्ध, पवित्र, निर्मळ परमेश्वराची प्रतिमा आपल्याद्वारे कलंकित करण्याचा प्रयत्न करतो. एकदा अशुद्ध आत्म्यामध्ये अडकलो की आपण अविचारी बनतो. देवराज्यापासून आपण वंचित होतो. देवाज्ञा भंग करतो. देवाचा कोण ? आणि सैतानाचा कोण? यातील आपल्याला योग्य फारकत करता आली पाहिजे. येशूच्या शब्दात ईश्वरी ज्ञान आहे. येशूच्या शब्दात ईश्वरी न्याय आहे. येशूच्या कार्यात पवित्र आत्मा आहे. जो आपल्याला सातत्याने परमेश्वराकडे घेऊन जातो. सैतानाची एकजूट ही आपणांस विनाशाकडे घेऊन जाते. तर, येशूची पवित्र आत्म्याठायी एकजूट आपणांस सार्वकालीन जीवनाकडे घेऊन जाते. कारण येशूचा आत्मा आपणांस पापाच्या खाचेतून मुक्त करतो. ख्रिस्ताच्या वचनात आणि पवित्र आत्म्याच्या सहवासात दृढ राहिल्याशिवाय आपणांस सैतानाला सामोरे जाता येणार नाही. देवरांज्याच्या कार्यासाठी प्रोत्साहीत होतो का? की माझे विचार शास्त्री व परुशी प्रमाणे पाडणारे आहे ?
प्रार्थना :हे प्रभू येशू, तुझी तारणदायी कृपा अनुभवून तुझ्याबरोबर आणि सर्वांबरोबर समेटाने व ऐक्याने जीवन जगण्यास शक्ती दे, आमेन.
