शेवटी माझ्या मुलाचा तरी ते मान राखतील
Finally he sent his son to them, saying, 'They will respect my son.
मग द्राक्षमळ्याचा धनी येईल तेव्हा तो त्या माळ्यांचे काय करील ?
पहिले वाचन : यशया ५:१-७
वाचक :यशया या पुस्तकातून घेतलेले वाचन ५:१-७
"सेनाधीश परमेश्वराचा द्राक्षमळा म्हणजे इस्त्राएलचे घराणे होय."
मी आपल्या वल्लभाप्रीत्यर्थ गाणे गाईन, आपल्या प्रियकराचे त्याच्या द्राक्षमळ्याचे गीत गाईन. माझ्या वल्लभाचा द्राक्षमळा डोंगराच्या एका अतिशय सुपीक माथ्यावर होता. तो त्याने खणून त्यातील गोटे काढून टाकले आणि तेथे उत्तम प्रतीच्या द्राक्षवेलीची लागवड केली, त्यात एक बुरुज बांधला आणि द्राक्षकुंड खोदले, मग त्यापासून द्राक्षे पैदा होतील म्हणून वाट पाहिली, पण त्याने रानद्राक्षे दिली. तर आता येरुशलेमकरांनो, आणि यहुदातील लोकांनो, माझा आणि माझ्या द्राक्षमळ्याचा न्याय करा बरे! माझ्या द्राक्षमळ्यात मी केले नाही असे अधिक काय करावयाचे राहिले ? तो द्राक्षे देईल म्हणून मी वाट पाहत असता त्याने रानद्राक्षे का दिली? आता मी आपल्या द्राक्षमळ्याचे काय करणार ते तुम्हांला सांगतो: मी त्याचे कुंपण काढून टाकीन म्हणजे तो मळा जनावरे खाऊन टाकतील, मी त्याचे आवार मोडीन म्हणजे तो तुडवला जाईल. मी तो उद्ध्वस्त करीन, त्याची कोणी छाटणी करणार नाही आणि कुदळणार नाही, त्यात काटेसराटे उगवतील, त्यावर पाऊस पाडू नका अशी आज्ञा मी मेघांना करीन. कारण सेनाधीश परमेश्वराचा द्राक्षमळा म्हणजे इस्राएलचे घराणे, त्यातील त्याची आवडती लागवड म्हणजे यहुदाचे लोक, त्याने न्याय्यत्वाची अपेक्षा केली तर त्याला रक्तपात आढळला, त्याने धार्मिकतेची अपेक्षा केली तो त्याला आक्रोश आढळून आला.

First Reading :Isaiah 5:1-7
T Let me sing for my beloved my love song concerning his vineyard My beloved had a vineyard on a very fertile hill. He dug it and cleared it of stones, and planted it with choice vines; he built a watchtower in the midst of it, and hewed out a wine vat in it; and he looked for it to yield grapes, but it yielded wild grapes. And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, judge between me and my vineyard. What more was there to do for my vineyard, that I have not done in it? When I looked for it to yield grapes, why did it yield wild grapes? And now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard. I will remove its hedge, and it shall be devoured; I will break down its wall, and it shall be trampled down. I will make it a waste; it shall not be pruned or hoed, and briers and thorns shall grow up; I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah are his pleasant planting; and he looked for justice, but behold, bloodshed, for righteousness, but behold, an outcry.

प्रतिसाद : परमेश्वराचा द्राक्षमळा म्हणजे इस्राएलचे घराणे होय.
१ इजिप्त देशातून तू द्राक्षवेल काढून आणला
आणि राष्ट्रांना घालवून देऊन तो त्यांच्या भूमीत लावला.
त्याने आपल्या फांद्या समुद्रापर्यंत आणि
आपले फाटे त्या नदीपर्यंत लांबवले.
२ त्याची कुंपणे तू का मोडलीस ?
त्यामुळे वाटेने येणारे जाणारे सगळे त्याची द्राक्षे तोडतात.
रानडुकरे त्याची नासधूस करतात,
जीवजंतू त्यावर आपला निर्वाह करतात.
३ हे सेनाधीश देवा, तू मागे फिर असे आम्ही तुला विनवितो,
जे रोप तू आपल्या उजव्या हाताने लावले,
जी शाखा तू स्वतःसाठी मजबूत केली तिचे संगोपन कर.
स्वर्गातून दृष्टी लावून पाहा आणि ह्या द्राक्षवेलाचे संगोपन कर.
४ म्हणजे आम्ही तुझ्यापासून मागे फिरणार नाही,
आमच्या जिवात जीव आण म्हणजे आम्ही
तुझ्या नावाचा धावा करू.
हे परमेश्वरा, सेनाधीश देवा, तू आम्हांला परत आण,
तू आपला मुखप्रकाश आमच्यावर पाड म्हणजे
आम्हांला मुक्ती लाभेल.
Psalm 80:9 and 12-16 and 19-20
The vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel.
You brought a vine out of Egypt:
you drove out the nations and planted it.
It stretched out its branches to the sea;
to the River it stretched out its shoots. R
Then why have you broken down its walls?
It is plucked by all who pass by the way.
It is ravaged by the boar of the forest,
devoured by the beasts of the field.R
God of hosts, turn again, we implore:
look down from heaven and see.
Visit this vine and protect it,
the vine your right hand has planted,
the son of man you have claimed for yourself. R
And we shall never forsake you again;
give us life that we may call upon your name.
O Lord God of hosts, bring us back;
let your face shine forth, and we shall be saved. R

कशाविषयीही चिंताक्रांत होऊ नका, तर सर्व गोष्टींविषयी प्रार्थना आणि विनंती करून आभार प्रदर्शनासह आपली मागणी देवाला कळवा. म्हणजे सर्व बुद्धिसामर्थ्यांच्या पलीकडे असलेली देवाने दिलेली शांती तुमची अंत:करणे आणि तुमचे विचार ख्रिस्त येशूच्या ठायी राखील.
बंधूनो, शेवटी इतके सांगतो की, जे काही सत्य, जे काही आदरणीय, जे काही न्याय्य, जे काही शुद्ध, जे काही प्रशंसनीय, जे काही श्रवणीय, जो काही सद्गुण, जी काही स्तुती, त्यांचे मनन करा. माझ्यापासून जे तुम्ही शिकला, जे स्वीकारले आणि माझे जे ऐकले, पाहिले ते आचरित राहा, म्हणजे शांतिदाता देव तुमच्याबरोबर राहील.

Second Reading :Philippians 4:6-9
Brethren: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God. which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me-practise these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
